Target Information
Calcitonin Receptor (CALCR)는 골 흡수를 억제하며, 발달 과정에서 형태형성에 관여합니다. 세 가지 대체 스플라이싱된 isoform이 존재하며, calcitonin과 결합할 뿐 아니라 RAMP3(receptor activity modifying protein)과 복합체를 형성하여 amylin을 결합할 수 있습니다. Amylin은 췌장 이소렛 기능 조절 및 제2형 당뇨병과 관련이 있습니다.
Calcitonin Receptor는 동맥, 혈액, 골, 뇌, 신장, 폐, 태반, 전립선, 골격근, 갑상선 등 다양한 조직에서 발현되며, bone, embryo, kidney, melanocyte/uterus/fetal heart 라이브러리에서 ESTs가 분리되었습니다.
