CDC42 및 RAC1의 활성형 결합에 의해 활성화되며, 여러 세린/트레오닌 잔기에서 자기 인산화를 유도합니다.
Full-length PAK2는 세포 생존 및 성장 촉진에 기여합니다.
PAK 단백질은 Rho GTPases를 세포골격 재조직 및 핵 신호전달과 연결하는 중요한 효과기로 작용하며, 다양한 생물학적 기능에 관여하는 세린/트레오닌 p21-활성화 키나아제 계열에 속합니다.
