Target Information

MTHFR 유전자는 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate를 5-methyltetrahydrofolate로 전환하는 효소를 암호화합니다. 이 효소는 호모시스테인의 메티오닌 재메틸화 과정에 관여하며, 유전적 변이는 혈관 질환, 신경관 결손, 대장암, 급성 백혈병 등의 감수성에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다. 또한 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase 결핍증과 관련이 있습니다.
