IGFBP2 (Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 2)는 다양한 IGF와 결합하는 ISGBP 계열의 단백질입니다. IGFBP2는 교모세포종, 전립선암, 활액육종, 신경모세포종, 대장암, 부신피질암, 폐암, 윌름스 종양, 간모세포종 등 여러 암에서 과발현되며, 일부 종양의 공격성과도 관련이 있습니다. 또한 IGFBP2는 matrix metalloprotease 2의 발현을 활성화하여 세포 침습성을 증가시킵니다.
