The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
AMPD3 is a member of the AMP deaminase gene family. It catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine monophosphate (AMP) to inosine monophosphate (IMP), a key step in the adenylate catabolic pathway. This protein represents the erythrocyte (E) isoform, while other isoforms predominate in muscle (M) and liver (L) cells. Mutations in AMPD3 can cause erythrocyte AMP deaminase deficiency, an autosomal recessive and clinically asymptomatic condition.
