IRF9 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 9)는 항바이러스 면역에서 핵심적인 전사 인자로, type I IFN (IFN-α 및 IFN-β) 신호를 매개합니다. IFN 수용체 결합 후 TYK2 및 JAK1이 활성화되어 STAT1과 STAT2를 인산화시키며, IRF9은 이들과 결합하여 ISGF3 복합체를 형성합니다. 이 복합체는 핵으로 이동해 IFN-stimulated response element (ISRE)에 결합, 항바이러스 유전자 발현을 유도합니다. [UniProt]
