Target Information
CD82 (KAI-1)는 전이 억제 유전자로 알려진 막당단백질로, transmembrane 4 superfamily에 속합니다.
이 유전자의 발현은 인간 암의 진행 과정에서 감소하며, p53에 의해 프로모터의 결합 서열을 통해 활성화될 수 있습니다.
CD82와 p53의 발현은 밀접하게 연관되어 있으며, 두 단백질의 발현 소실은 전립선암 환자의 낮은 생존율과 관련되어 있습니다.
두 가지 상이한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 보고되었습니다.
