Target Information
THRAP3 is a 955 amino acid nuclear receptor-associated protein and a member of the thyroid hormone receptor-associated proteins. It contains a LISH domain and functions as a 150 kDa subunit of the large multiprotein complex TRAP. THRAP3 plays a key role in maintaining the structure of the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component in the nucleolus and is involved in transcriptional coactivation. It interacts with DKC1, nop5/nap65, and fibrillarin. Northern blot analysis indicates that TRAP150 is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues.
