Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The SERPINA5 gene encodes a serine proteinase inhibitor (serpin) that primarily inhibits tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and urokinase (uPA), thus regulating fibrinolysis.
Defects in this gene cause plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 deficiency (PAI-1 deficiency), and elevated levels are associated with thrombophilia.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
