Target Information
YTHDF2 단백질은 N6-methyladenosine (m6A)-함유 RNA를 특이적으로 인식하고 결합하여 mRNA 안정성을 조절합니다.
m6A는 mRNA 및 일부 비암호화 RNA의 내부 부위에 존재하는 변형으로, 스플라이싱, 처리 및 안정성에 영향을 미칩니다.
YTHDF2는 m6A-함유 mRNA를 결합하여 처리체(P-body)로 이동시켜 mRNA 분해를 유도합니다.
또한 열 스트레스 후 cap-independent 번역을 촉진하며, 스트레스 시 핵으로 재배치되어 5’-UTR에 m6A 표지가 있는 mRNA를 보호함으로써 FTO에 의한 탈메틸화를 방지하고 번역을 유지시킵니다.
