This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, and the best clones are selected for production. Advantages include:

Target Information
The CD93 gene encodes a cell-surface glycoprotein and type I membrane protein originally identified as a myeloid cell-specific marker. Although once thought to be a receptor for C1q, it is now considered to be involved in intercellular adhesion and clearance of apoptotic cells. The cytoplasmic tail interacts with moesin, linking transmembrane proteins to the cytoskeleton and contributing to cytoskeletal remodeling.
