Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MXD4 is a member of the MAD gene family, encoding basic helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper proteins that form transcriptional repression complexes with MAX.
MAD proteins compete with MYC for MAX binding, balancing transcriptional activation and repression.
Rodent studies suggest MAD genes act as tumor suppressors, regulating cell growth and differentiation.
