Target Information
ITK (IL2-inducible T-cell kinase) is a tyrosine kinase expressed in T-cells, containing SH2 and SH3 domains. It plays a critical role in T-cell proliferation and differentiation. The Tec family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases includes Tec, Itk (also known as Emt or Tsk), Btk, Bmx, Txk (Rlk), and Dsrc28C. Most members contain SH3, SH2, pleckstrin homology (PH), and Tec homology (TH) domains. ITK associates with CD28 and becomes activated following CD28 ligation.
