Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve approximately 1 mg/mL antibody concentration.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
UBP1 acts as a transcriptional activator in a promoter context-dependent manner. It modulates placental expression of CYP11A1 and regulates alpha-globin gene expression in erythroid cells through synergistic interaction with TFCP2.
UBP1 binds strongly to sequences around the HIV-1 initiation site and weakly over the TATA-box, repressing HIV-1 transcription by inhibiting TFIID binding.
