Target Information
GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth. It is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent, reactive glial cells. GAP43 is a major component of the motile growth cones at the tips of elongating axons and plays a key role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
