Target Information
The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes encoding secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate and embryonic patterning.
WNT10B may be involved in breast cancer and functions as a molecular switch regulating adipogenesis.
This protein shares 96% amino acid identity with mouse Wnt10b and is clustered with WNT1 in the chromosome 12q13 region.
