Target Information

BTLA (B and T-lymphocyte attenuator)는 CD28 슈퍼패밀리에 속하는 공동억제 수용체로, 면역 반응 중 림프구를 억제하는 역할을 합니다. 대부분의 CD4⁺ 및 CD8⁺ T 세포에서 발현되며, T 세포 활성화 시 점차 감소합니다. Th1 세포에서는 지속적으로 발현되지만 Th2 세포에서는 발현되지 않습니다. BTLA는 HVEM (herpesvirus entry mediator)과 상호작용하여 림프구 활성 및 항상성을 조절하는 중요한 경로를 형성합니다.
