Target Information
MCM7은 진핵세포 게놈 복제 개시 과정에 필수적인 고도로 보존된 미니 크로모좀 유지 단백질(MCM) 중 하나를 암호화합니다. MCM 단백질로 구성된 헥사머 복합체는 pre-replication complex(pre_RC)의 핵심 구성 요소로, 복제 포크 형성 및 DNA 복제 관련 단백질의 모집에 관여합니다.
MCM2, 4, 6과 함께 형성되는 MCM 복합체는 DNA helicase 활성을 가지며 DNA 이중가닥을 풀어주는 역할을 합니다. Cyclin D1 의존성 kinase인 CDK4는 이 단백질과 결합하여 RB1/RB 종양억제 단백질과의 상호작용을 조절할 수 있습니다.
