Target Information
MRGPRX2는 오르판 수용체로, 통각 신경세포의 기능에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. 통각수용체의 기능 및 발달, 통증 감각 조절에 관여할 수 있으며, Cortistatin-14가 높은 친화도를 가진 리간드로 알려져 있습니다. Cortistatin은 수면 조절, 운동 활동, 피질 기능 등 다양한 생물학적 기능을 가집니다. 수용체 발현 세포에서 cortistatin은 세포 내 Ca(2+) 증가를 유도하지만, 기저 또는 forskolin 자극에 의한 cAMP 수준에는 영향을 주지 않아 G(q)-coupled 수용체로 추정됩니다. 말초 및 중추신경계에서 제한적으로 발현되며, 특히 배근신경절(dorsal root ganglion)에서 높은 수준을 보입니다.
