For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
FERMT2 (Kindlin-2) is a scaffolding protein that enhances integrin activation mediated by TLN1 and/or TLN2, though it activates integrins only weakly by itself. It binds to phosphoinositide-enriched membranes and promotes integrin-mediated cell adhesion and spreading, requiring interactions with both integrins and phospholipid membranes.
FERMT2 is essential for focal adhesion assembly and links extracellular matrix adhesion sites to the actin cytoskeleton, coordinating actin assembly and cell shape modulation. It recruits FBLIM1 to focal adhesions, plays roles in TGFB1 and integrin signaling pathways, stabilizes active CTNNB1, and regulates transcription mediated by CTNNB1 and TCF7L2/TCF4 in Wnt signaling.
