Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological roles. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as biomarkers for various diseases.
The KLK8 gene belongs to a cluster of fifteen kallikrein subfamily members on chromosome 19. The encoded protein may participate in proteolytic cascades in the skin and act as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
