One Shot MAX Efficiency DH10B T1 Phage-Resistant E. coli have all the benefits of the DH10B genotype, with the addition of the ton_A (also known as _fhuA) genotype for resistance to T1 and T5 phage infection. The inclusion of the _ton_A genotype offers added security to protect valuable clones and libraries. MAX Efficiency DH10B T1 cells can achieve high transformation efficiency of >1 x 109 cfu/μg supercoiled plasmid, making them ideal for generating cDNA or genomic libraries, transforming large plasmids (>150 kb in size), and for situations when DNA is limiting.

MAX Efficiency DH10B T1 Phage-Resistant Cells carry mutations in the methylation-dependent restriction system (mcr_A, _mcr_BC, and _mrr), allowing construction of genomic libraries of both prokaryotic and eukaryotic genomic DNA, as well as efficient plasmid rescue from eukaryotic genomes. This strain also has the _lac_ZΔM15 genotype, providing the option of blue-white screening on plates containing either X-Gal or Bluo-Gal. Finally, the _end_A1 mutation makes DH10B-T1R cells an excellent vehicle for amplifying plasmid DNA for subsequent extraction and purification.

MAX Efficiency DH10B T1 Phage-Resistant Cells offer:

• lac_ZΔM15 marker that provides α-complementation of the β-galactosidase gene allowing blue/white screening on agar plates containing X-Gal or Bluo-Gal

• _end_A1 mutation that enables increased plasmid yield and quantity
