For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The PKC family of serine/threonine kinases, including PRKCE (PKC epsilon), is activated intracellularly by signal transduction pathways. In humans, at least 12 different PKC isoforms have been identified, differing in structure, tissue distribution, subcellular localization, and substrate specificity.
PKC alpha, beta I, beta II, and gamma form the conventional family, which are Ca²⁺- and phospholipid-dependent. PKC family members phosphorylate diverse protein targets and are involved in multiple cellular signaling pathways. They also act as receptors for phorbol esters, a class of tumor promoters, and each isoform plays distinct roles in cells.
