ERLIN2 (also known as C8orf2, SPFH2)는 ERLIN1/ERLIN2 복합체의 구성 성분으로, IP3 수용체(ITPR1)의 ER-associated degradation (ERAD)을 매개합니다.
또한 HMGCR의 스테롤-가속 ERAD 및 SREBP 신호 경로를 통한 세포 콜레스테롤 항상성 조절에 관여합니다.
ERLIN1/ERLIN2 복합체의 분자량은 약 70 kDa입니다.
