Target Information
EF-1 (elongation factor-1)은 아미노아실-tRNA를 리보솜으로 전달하는 다단백 복합체입니다. EF-1 복합체는 EF-1α, EF-1β, EF-1δ, EF-1γ의 네 가지 서브유닛으로 구성됩니다.
EF-1β는 225 아미노산으로 구성된 EF-1β/EF-1δ 단백질 패밀리의 구성원이며, GST C-말단 도메인을 포함합니다.
EF-1β와 EF-1δ는 EF-1α에 결합된 GDP를 GTP로 교환하는 반응을 촉진하며, EF-1β의 인산화는 이 교환 속도에 영향을 줍니다.
EF-1β를 암호화하는 유전자의 대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 5' UTR이 다른 세 가지 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
