Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the S100 family of calcium-binding proteins containing two EF-hand motifs. These proteins are involved in various cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation.
S100 genes are clustered on chromosome 1q21, but the S100P gene is located on 4p16. This protein binds Ca²⁺, Zn²⁺, and Mg²⁺, and may play a role in prostate cancer etiology.
