Target Information
PDE2A (phosphodiesterase 2A)는 100 kDa의 cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE)로, 하나의 유전자로부터 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 PDE2A1, PDE2A2, PDE2A3의 세 가지 아이소폼이 생성됩니다.
PDE2A는 cAMP와 cGMP 모두를 분해하지만 cGMP를 더 효율적으로 분해하며, 뇌(소뇌 및 신피질)에 가장 많이 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 발기부전 및 내피세포 장벽을 통한 체액 및 염증세포 수송 조절에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
