Target Information
TET2는 5-메틸시토신(5mC)을 5-하이드록시메틸시토신(5hmC)으로 변환하는 디옥시게나아제로, DNA 탈메틸화 과정에서 핵심적인 역할을 수행합니다. 또한 CpG-rich 프로모터 부위에서 O-GlcNAc transferase(OGT)를 모집하여 히스톤 H2B의 GlcNAcylation을 촉진합니다. TET2 유전자 변이는 Polycythemia vera 및 Myelodysplastic syndrome과 관련이 있습니다.
