Target Information
CCK4는 세포 부착 분자로 기능할 수 있으며, insulin receptor 하위 패밀리에 속하지만 tyrosine kinase의 촉매 활성이 없을 가능성이 있습니다.
이 단백질은 결장암의 병리생리와 관련될 수 있으며, 종양 진행 마커로 작용할 수 있습니다.
Type I 막 단백질로서 폐, 간, 췌장, 신장, 태반, 멜라닌 세포에서 높게 발현되고, 갑상선, 난소, 뇌, 심장, 골격근에서는 약하게 발현되며, 결장에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 또한 erythroleukemia 세포에서도 발현됩니다.
