Target Information
Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)는 인간 헤르페스 바이러스의 일종으로, Hodgkin 병, Burkitt 림프종 등의 질환과 관련이 있으며 청소년기 단핵구증(mononucleosis)의 원인 바이러스입니다.
EBV는 B 림프구를 잠복 감염시키며, 감염된 세포는 EBV 핵항원과 잠복 단백질인 LMP1, LMP2A, LMP2B를 발현합니다.
LMP2A는 B 림프구의 세포막에서 Src 및 Syk 단백질 티로신 키나아제의 음성 조절자로 작용하며, B세포 수용체(BCR) 신호 전달을 차단하여 잠복 감염 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
EBNA-1은 EBV 관련 모든 악성종양에서 일관되게 발현되는 유일한 바이러스 단백질입니다.
