Invitrogen™ CSPD™ Substrate (0.25 mM Ready-To-Use) with Nitro-Block™ Enhancer
This CSPD™ chemiluminescent substrate with Nitro-Block™ Enhancer is a ready-to-use alkaline phosphatase substrate designed for protein or nucleic acid blotting on nitrocellulose membranes. It can also be used in solution-based assays.

- Detects alkaline phosphatase and alkaline phosphatase-labeled molecules with exceptional sensitivity, speed, and ease
- Provides highly sensitive alternatives to fluorogenic (MUP) and colorimetric (pNPP) substrates
- Low background luminescence with high-intensity light output for optimal signal-to-noise ratio
- Suitable for membrane-based assays (Southern, Northern, Western blotting) and solution-based assays (immunoassay, DNA probe assay, enzyme assay, reporter gene assay)
- Maximum light levels achieved in approximately 10 minutes; glow emission persists for several hours
