Target Information
Adenylate Kinase 9 is involved in maintaining nucleotide homeostasis by catalyzing the interconversion of nucleoside phosphates. It exhibits both nucleoside monophosphate and diphosphate kinase activities, catalyzing phosphorylation of AMP, dAMP, CMP, and dCMP with ATP as phosphate donor, and CMP with GTP as donor. It also catalyzes production of ATP, CTP, GTP, UTP, dATP, dCTP, dGTP, and TTP from corresponding diphosphate substrates, showing substrate preference of CDP > UDP > ADP > GDP > TDP.
