Background
Reactive oxygen species (ROS)는 정상적인 호기성 대사 과정에서 생성되며, 생체 내 항산화 시스템에 의해 제거됩니다. 이러한 시스템은 superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, catalase 등의 효소적 방어와, 비효소적 항산화 물질(beta-tocopherol, L-ascorbic acid, glutathione, coenzyme Q10 등)에 의해 구성됩니다. 본 키트는 이러한 항산화 능력을 총체적으로 평가할 수 있습니다.
Assay Principle
본 키트는 다양한 시료의 항산화 상태를 정량적으로 측정하도록 설계되었습니다. 제공된 ferrous chloride standard를 이용해 표준 곡선을 작성하고, 시료는 assay buffer에 희석 후 well에 첨가합니다. FRAP color solution(reagent A와 B 혼합)을 첨가한 후 실온에서 반응시키면, 항산화력이 있는 시료는 청색 생성물을 형성하며, 이는 560 nm에서 흡광도로 측정됩니다.
