Target Information
The Hedgehog signaling pathway plays an important role in early human development, regulating pattern formation and cellular proliferation. SUFU encodes a negative regulator of this pathway. Defects in SUFU are associated with medulloblastoma. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
