For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The AK5 gene encodes a member of the adenylate kinase family, which regulates adenine nucleotide composition by catalyzing reversible phosphate transfer among adenine nucleotides. This protein is cytosolic and expressed exclusively in the brain. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
