Target Information
Rho GTPases play a fundamental role in numerous cellular processes initiated by extracellular stimuli acting through G protein-coupled receptors. The encoded protein may form complexes with G proteins and stimulate Rho-dependent signaling pathways. This protein is similar to the rat collybistin protein. Alternative splicing of this gene generates two transcript variants encoding different isoforms, and multiple polyadenylation sites may be used.
