Target Information
ARHGEF11은 1527 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, tandem dbl homology 및 pleckstrin homology 도메인, PDZ 도메인, 두 개의 proline-rich 서열, 그리고 조절성 G protein-signaling (RGS) 서열을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 RhoA GTPase에 대한 guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF)로 작용하며, RAC1 또는 CDC42에는 작용하지 않습니다. 또한 GNA12 및 GNA13에 대한 GTPase-activating protein (GAP)으로 기능합니다.
ARHGEF11은 G 단백질과 복합체를 형성하여 Rho 의존적 신호를 통해 신경 돌기의 수축을 유도하며, glutamate 수송을 4배 증가시킵니다. EAAT4와 상호작용하여 glutamate 흡수 활성 및 시냅스 주변 분포를 조절합니다. 또한 actin 세포골격 재구성을 유도하며, 과발현 시 막 주름 및 filopodia 형성을 촉진합니다. 뇌, 폐, 간, 신장 및 골격근 등 다양한 조직에서 발현됩니다.
