For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

Target Information

Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms exist for this gene.
One isoform is a membrane-bound protein with sequence similarity to the mouse mahogany protein, a receptor involved in controlling obesity.
Another isoform is a secreted protein involved in the initial immune cell clustering during inflammatory responses and may regulate the chemotactic activity of chemokines.
