Target Information
Wnt3a, part of the WNT gene family, encodes secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate regulation and embryonic patterning. Expression studies in NT2 teratocarcinoma cells suggest a role in early neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. WNT3A is clustered with WNT3 on chromosome 17q21.
