Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The CDC6 protein is homologous to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc6, essential for the initiation of DNA replication.
It acts as a regulator during early steps of DNA replication, localizing to the nucleus during G1 phase and translocating to the cytoplasm at the start of S phase.
This translocation is regulated by phosphorylation via Cdks, and CDC6 transcription is controlled by E2F proteins in response to mitogenic signals.
