Target Information
U2AF1 유전자는 splicing factor SR 계열에 속하며, U2 보조 인자로서 large 및 small subunit으로 구성됩니다. 본 단백질은 pre-mRNA branch site에 U2 snRNP가 결합하는 데 필수적인 non-snRNP 단백질입니다. Small subunit은 large subunit과 enhancer 결합 단백질 간의 상호작용을 직접 매개하여, constitutive 및 enhancer-dependent RNA splicing 모두에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 alternative splicing 전사체가 존재합니다.
