Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
The antigen is homologous with sequences derived from mouse MOR106-3, MOR191-1, MOR106-7, MOR263-6, and rat olfactory 7 (orthologue of MOR263-3).
Specificity: MOR106-1 (see also the Immunogen).

These receptors are members of the G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, encoded by single coding-exon genes.
They share a 7-transmembrane domain structure common to many neurotransmitter and hormone receptors and mediate odorant signal transduction via G proteins.
The olfactory receptor gene family is the largest in the genome.
The nomenclature for olfactory receptor genes and proteins is organism-specific and independent of other species.
