For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered ring-shaped 20S core structure composed of four rings of 28 subunits (two α and two β rings). Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and degrade peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent, non-lysosomal pathway.
A modified proteasome, the immunoproteasome, processes class I MHC peptides.
The PSMB7 gene encodes a β-type subunit of the 20S core proteasome. Expression is downregulated by gamma interferon, and proteolytic processing is required for maturation. This subunit is not present in the immunoproteasome and is replaced by the catalytic subunit 2i (proteasome β10 subunit).
