Target Information
TFG protein is a human homolog of mouse TFG protein, containing an N-terminal coiled-coil structure and a SPYGQ-rich region with octicosapeptide repeats. Research indicates that TFG modulates SHP-1 activity and is part of the NF-κB pathway. It associates with proteins such as TANK and NEMO and was first identified as a partner of NTRK1, involved in generating the thyroid TRK-T3 oncogene and rearrangements with ALK in anaplastic lymphoma and NOR1 in mixoid chondrosarcoma.
