Target Information

RFX3 is a member of the regulatory factor X gene family, encoding transcription factors with a conserved winged helix DNA-binding domain.
It functions as a transcriptional activator capable of binding DNA as a monomer or heterodimer with other RFX family members.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described, with at least one utilizing alternative polyadenylation signals.
