Target Information
TSC2 (Tuberin, Tuberous sclerosis complex, TSC Complex Subunit 2)는 종양 억제 인자로 알려져 있으며, 세포 성장 정지 및 스테로이드 수용체 매개 전사 조절에 관여합니다. TSC2는 hamartin과 복합체를 형성하여 세포질 내에서 샤페론 역할을 할 수 있습니다. Ser939 및 Thr1462의 인산화는 hamartin과의 상호작용을 조절하며, PI3K/Akt 경로에 의해 자극됩니다. 또한, TSC2는 RAP1A 및 RAB5의 내재적 GTPase 활성을 자극하여 세포 성장 조절에 기여할 수 있습니다. TSC2의 돌연변이는 RAP1A의 지속적 활성화를 유발하며, lymphangioleiomyomatosis 및 TSC2 angiomyolipoma와 같은 질환과 관련이 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 TSC2는 세 가지 서로 다른 isoform을 생성합니다.
