Product Specific Information
이 항체는 mouse 및 rat에서도 반응할 것으로 예측되며, human prolactin receptor (hPRLr)의 long form (~85–90 kDa)을 인식합니다. Western blot에서 human prolactin receptor의 intermediate 및 delta S1 isoform도 검출할 수 있습니다. Immunoprecipitation에서는 long form만 강하게 인식하며, 개발 과정에서 human T-47D breast carcinoma 세포에서 반응성이 확인되었습니다.
Target Information
Prolactin (PRL)은 뇌하수체에서 분비되는 호르몬으로, 젖 분비 자극, 염분 및 수분 조절, 성장, 발달, 생식 등에 관여합니다. PRL은 세포막에 존재하는 prolactin receptor (PRLR)에 결합하여 신호전달을 시작합니다. PRLR은 cytokine receptor family에 속하며, 조직과 종에 따라 약 40–100 kDa 크기의 short 및 long form으로 존재합니다. PRLR은 prolactin 결합 부위를 포함한 5개의 cysteine이 있는 extracellular domain, single transmembrane domain, 그리고 ligand 결합 및 세포 기능 조절에 영향을 주는 cytoplasmic domain으로 구성됩니다.
