Target Information
RUVBL2는 단일가닥 DNA에 의해 자극되는 ATPase 및 ATP 의존성 DNA helicase (5’→3’) 활성을 가지며, NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex의 구성 요소로 작용합니다. 이 복합체는 주로 nucleosomal histone H4 및 H2A의 아세틸화를 통해 특정 유전자의 전사 활성화에 관여합니다.
NuA4 복합체의 ATPase 및 helicase 활성은 RUVBL1 및 RUVBL2가 EP400과 결합함으로써 부분적으로 제공됩니다. 또한, DNA 손상 부위에서 DNA 복구에도 직접적인 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
RUVBL2는 MYC에 의한 종양 형성 과정에서 필수적인 역할을 하며, LEF1/TCF1-CTNNB1 복합체에 의한 전사 활성 조절에도 관여합니다. 또한 ATF2의 전사 활성을 억제할 수도 있습니다.
