Target Information
SERPINB5 (Maspin) is a tumor suppressor protein that inhibits growth, invasion, and metastasis of mammary tumors. Unlike active serpins, it does not undergo the stressed-to-relaxed conformational transition and therefore lacks serine protease inhibitory activity.
