Target Information
Estrogen Receptor beta (ERβ, NR3A2)는 약 55 kDa 크기의 단백질로, 36–59 kDa 범위의 다양한 isoform이 존재합니다. 인간 ERβ는 고환에서 처음으로 클로닝 및 특성화되었습니다.
Estrogen Receptor는 스테로이드/갑상선 호르몬 수용체 초가족에 속하는 핵 수용체로, 에스트로겐 결합 시 전사 인자로 작용합니다.
ERα와 ERβ는 각각 ESR1, ESR2 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, ERβ는 ERα의 활성을 억제하거나 조절할 수 있습니다.
